Delete your StorageBuddy AI account
You can permanently delete your StorageBuddy AI account and the data associated with it at any time. This page describes the in-app option, the email option for people who no longer have the app, what is deleted, and what is retained.
Option 1 · Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the StorageBuddy AI app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
- Open the menu at the top of the screen and tap Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section and open Sign out · Delete account.
- Tap Delete account, type
deleteto confirm, and tap the delete button. - Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out and your data is removed from our live systems within seconds.
This works whether or not you ever added an email address to your account.
Option 2 · Request deletion by email (no app required)
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot open it, email:
Subject line: StorageBuddy AI account deletion request
- If you saved your space with an email address: send the request from that email address so we can verify it is your account.
- If you never added an email (your account was anonymous): tell us anything that identifies the space — its name, a container's short code (for example
G-RB-07), or the code printed on one of its QR labels (SB-…) — and roughly when you created it. We will use this to find and verify the account before deleting it.
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 14 calendar days, then send you a final confirmation.
What is deleted

What is retained, and for how long

Demo mode
The demo space is built into the app and is never stored on our servers under your account, so there is nothing in it to delete.
Other rights
- Export your data: in the app, Settings → Export inventory saves your full inventory as a spreadsheet, PDF, or web page — free on every plan.
- Correct or update your data: edit any location, container, or item directly in the app at any time.
- Cancel an email request: reply to our confirmation before deletion completes.
